Food For The Gods (Butterscotch Blondies)

During the age of mythology, Athena and Poseidon contested with one another for supremacy. They disagreed on everything, but the one thing they agreed on was that butterscotch cake should be made with toasted butter - and they were right. The deep flavors of brown sugar mixed with sweet cream butter are elevated by the walnuts, cashews, dates and raisins. It's impossible to be satisfied with just a single bite, so we made it a cake. The result? An irresistible cake made for the gods.
